Professionals and practitioners like destination managers and spatial planners will be targeted by SPOT project’s local seminars. Most significant issues of tourism development impacts on built environment investigated during the SPOT project will be the focus of local seminars organized by every partner of project’s consortium. Local and regional tourism planning institutions, stakeholders of investigated issue of tourism development will be targeted by project’s events. The feedback from local seminars will be used by researchers involved in a project to revise their scientific results.

An academic handbook will be significant output of the project, important from the perspective of students, academicians, but also professionals. It will be a collection of papers presenting issues, tools and solutions for developing sustainable spatial planning of tourism destinations. The handbook will provide a broad overview of the development of European practices in tourism spatial planning. It will present the experience, practices and guidance available at national, regional and local level. The empirical content for the handbook will be collected mainly during the SPOT project study visits, and preliminarily discussed with practitioners during local seminars.
